What I want to know: Is Felghana a lot harder to get strong? I don't mind grinding as long as the exp isn't ridiculously low like 2 digit exp when you need thousands of exp.

As long as you're good at finding treasure and not skipping all the monsters, you'll comfortably get enough to get the shield and upgrade the sword at least.
