(I don't use the small rubber chambers for brass cleaning as I built a larger chamber from 4" PVC that holds more and is easier to seal and open.) WEBJul 30, 2012 · If you have a good ball mill I think not, if you don't, maybe Like Seymour, I mill 2050 lb of BP and mix the mill powder before granulating/ coating rice hull, etc (more consistency) I primarily use coated rice hulls, but do make some granulated powder and the kitchen grater is the best IMO

Now, mine was smaller than your 17 pounder, but to make a 125 gram batch went from 51/5 hours down to 3 by increasing the speed 15 RPM. I imagine in a larger ball mill the time difference would be considerably more.
